Oh wow. From what I remember, I found the skin tones a little too red on the VS 4K. If this is indeed exactly the same, I’m good. If it’s different, and for the better, maybe I’ll give it a go. But definitely not selling the VS set!

I have the VSU of Vinegar Syndrome's THE BEASTMASTER but I'll gladly double dip to support this title and Coscarelli's work.

The skin tones on Tanya Roberts look excellent to me

Wish shout would give us 2 and 3 on a double feature to go along with this

The only difference I can see here would be the implementation of Dolby Vision, assuming it’s the same scan

Sold my VSU for a bill awhile ago, so I'm down. If they do a different HDR grade it could look better, this was back when VinSyn was going nuclear on their dials. This makes me think Shout might do Rad as well.

I'm admittedly curious what Scream Factory could offer that Vinegar Syndrome didn't already. If it's an improvement, I'll get it. Always support Coscarelli's work.

Honestly, I'd love a release of 2 just for the sheer amount of cheese.

I would get it if they improve on VS but I don't see how they can beat the VS we all have . I want part 2 more since the VS looks amazing even with the OCN lost . Part 2 needs a blu-ray , 4K to see Kari Wuhrer even better

I'm pretty happy with the VS release, but it's good that this will be in print again.

Count me on board for 2 if they get around to that sometime.

I might pick this up even though I own the VS. Depends on AV quality, whether Shout releases any sequels alongside it.

I have the VS release. Not only was it a blind buy, I haven't even watched it yet.

It will be interesting to see if this skips in the exact same spot as the VSU on Sony X-700s.

Well, presumably people in the UK weren't subjected to it airing 4,256 times a week on TV during the tail end of the last century - unlike here in the US - so that's perfectly plausible...
