theyre environmental vids ... i used to buy sound recordings of this stuff in the 60s and 70s ... you enjoy it in the background or space out staring at it ... its not like looking at a popeye cartoon

Does anyone have the new National Parks disc? How's the transfer? I know previous Sunrise Earth Blu-rays have been savaged for excessive compression and generally terrible image quality. A shame, because I really loved this series. Was one of the first programs that really took my breath away when I got my first HDTV and is deeply relaxing and beautiful. I'll happily buy this if it looks decent.
