i dont understand why some are so anal about the "search function"...if you see a thread that was opened a couple months ago....just read the topic and move on to another...there are alot of new users here....this is a public forum...about any topic ht or blu...get a life if you dont like the newer posts being made...i've posted a few threads that had 0 search results on the forum..yet some people say "use the search function"...for those people..this isnt your site...and there is a reason why there are mod's...and if your not one of em...shush....people can post as they feel free

I agree completly. I have never seen so many grown men nag worse than old people just because you dont use the search function. Some of the repeat threads are far more entertaining and informative then some of the stuff on there anyway.

run a forum search and type use the s-e-a-r-c-h function and see whos name come up 9 out of 10 times

I thinks it easier to answer the question rather than post *****, they are un-needed responses that make us look bad

I think a lot of newbs use the search box at the top of the page as opposed to the search pull down menu on the forum screen. Someone had to point that out to me before I realized how to search for threads. True I am sick of seeing the same threads over and over again, but I can understand a newbs confusion.

duplicate threads are only annoying when big news comes out and every little noob makes a thread about it 3 days after the fact because they think somebody else hasn't noticed it.

vBulletin search is weak. It searches for keywords instead of relevancy.

I'm with you on that. Its more annoying seeing peaple say use the search function to new comers to the site, like there stupid or something......Real friendly 'huh'.......
