Again, as well as Brian Donlevy as Quatermass I like Dana Andrews in the Night of the Demon, they both seem right to me in these classic, atmospheric British horror films.

Powerhouse did a splendid LE of Night of the Demon which included in the set, amongst other things, a Julian Karswell calling card.

Night of the Demon (Sabre Film Production) is another film that merits being released in 4K with all the trimmings.

Oh I’ve no doubt it will be better. The Kino disc was based on a HD master that was fine at the time but doesn’t compete with newer scans.

Regarding today's pre-order, I wonder if there'll be a way of of knowing before you commit whether you're up for a poster (which I don't want) or a patch (which I do)?

I got the patch as well, shows as -£10 in the basket so maybe they'll be selling them for £10 at some point.

Am grateful for the free shipping. I don't know how many of these monster sets I can find space for but this one is a classic so I figured why not.

Just put in an order for this and the standard 4K of Captain Kronos. Free shipping to the U.S. after reaching 80 pounds is nice. Space and money don't allow me to do the big boxes for all the films, but Quatermass is my favorite Hammer series so I had to go for it. Unlike Captain Kronos, Xperiment does not appear to carry over all previous special features. So you'll want to hang on to your Kino Blus for their featurettes.
