Hell yeah!! I really hope they do right by this film and the multiple cuts its had. The tv version…or a tv version…had a ton of extra footage.

Hopefully Shout Factory might do a Blu Ray release as well? Been dying to upgrade Ace to Blu.

My guess is it'll be a 4K/Blu-ray combo pack (maybe even containing an additional Blu-ray with the Extended Cut...).

If that’s the case good. Like others wish it was both movies at once but. I will take a Shout Blu over the half assed Sony release

Probably the film I've watched the most number of times. Fun fact: I woo'd my (first) wife dressed as and acting like Ace Ventura. Alrighty then.

I showed it to my kids about 4 or 5 months ago. I think they were slightly more amused at watching their dad laughing like a drain every 10 seconds than the film. And people saying the film's 'problematic' can **** right off. It's hilarious in all the right places.

Shame the sequel was a bit of a drop in quality, though.

Oh yeah, I'm happy as hell we're getting it and we know the disc will look immaculate coming from Shout, was just venting more or less

I remember laughing my head off watching this with my brother and dad. They looked at me like I was nuts I laughed so hard. Don't know if it'll hold up today but I'll grab a copy.
