Regarding the German StudioCanal release:

With regards to the broken 5.1-Track on the US-Shout-Release:
There is a user named "Michael" on the German Movieside-Forum. He's working for Plaion and has been posting there quite regulary. Plaion is distributing StudioCanal releases in Germany. When asked if this new 4K StudioCanal-Version of "Timecop" will have a fixed 5.1-Track, like the 4K StudioCanal-Version of "Point Break" had, he answered: "...And the english 5.1-Track will get fixed, of course".

I’m tempted to grab this too with the offer. Just to check, do you think it will be English friendly, as in no forced French subtitles on the main film? Not sure whether to just wait for a potential UK release though…

It should be English friendly with removable subtitles (I believe their release of Bloodsport is). For that price I’m happy to take a punt.

Funny enough, even though I don't actually use bottle openers, (I'm white trash and drink from cans), I thought, "I'd like to have that bottle opener".

I’d be all over like white on rice, bottle opener included (it could be buddies with my TED one), but at that ridiculous price, this is one of the few tatters at which even I scoff. I am on the hook for the absurd 2-VHS Pack Limited Edition to the tune of $125 USD, though, so I’m still a dumbass.
