That first purple cover, which is the theatrical poster, would have looked awesome on a steelbook, especially with a slipcover to go along with it.

I think it looks awesome as a large poster, but it's too busy for a steelbook. Cases are tiny. There's 10 different actors shown in the poster artwork plus the two fighting in the middle that will be about 1 mm tall on a steelbook cover. It's just too much, too busy, too small a space for such a busy design. For steelbooks, less is more. For example, my most recent steelbook purchase is this Shining edition. Very simple. It makes the axe look like a logo. Love it.

I love how different opinions can be.

I feel the exact opposite. I like the extravagant, "busy" as you put it, artwork of the theatrical Ballerina poster and think it would look wonderful on a glossy steelbook. The borders and title could also only be included on a removable slipcover.

It's funny that you should mention that Shining steelbook as an example of your preferred artwork style as I am not a fan of that particular cover. To me, that artwork is too plain and has too much empty space. I think that they could have chosen a better cover instead, but to each their own.

I would have preferred this for the Shining steelbook art:

I will likely decide which one I want closer to release and cancel the other.

Also, I was hoping that there would be art cards with the Walmart exclusive.

When John Wick: Chapter 4 came out, WM had an exclusive with art cards and a mini poster, though it was not a steelbook.

Even if they do it will still be a savings. However Amazon will charge shipping if the price drops under free shipping threshold. I have had that happen.

It's definitely a roll of the dice on what amazon will do when it comes to their policies. And I think they bank on you deciding it's not worth the headache to fight them on them it.

You'd think they could earn their margins more honestly, but there it is.

Good to know that this lowest price guarantee feature for Walmart is now working automatically. But it wasn't auto adjusting for me earlier today, so I made a new order (as per past experience just to be sure). Should of hung on to my original order, though, as I did have to add another item the new order to reach the free shipping threshold.

So the Walmart Steelbook is now cheaper than the Amazon Steelbook. I wonder which one will be more popular now? Everyone has different taste, I personally thought the Walmart steel look better

Even though the Walmart features one of my favorite scene in the movie. Aesthetically I like the Amazon one since it is more in line with the look of John Wick movies.
