Ray Gunn is supposed to come out next year, this one could take 3 or 4 years.

Only just found out that Peter Sohn is helming I3 while Bird will be writing. Sounds like good news to me, we'll get to see a fleshed-out story like he intended had he been given enough time with I2.

Is there any truth to the rumors of a Ratatouille 2 in the works?

This rumor kind of came out of nowhere. Our team was at the Pixar event a couple of weeks ago in New York and from what we have gathered from speaking with Pixar, this rumor is not true. That does not mean one can not come in the future but at this time a sequel is not currently “in the works”.

Makes sense. Ratatouille doesn't scream franchise potential like other Pixar movies that they've done sequels for, and I don't think it's the type of premise that would get today's audiences in large enough numbers to make it the blockbuster success it would need to be for Pixar-level budgets.

Everyone in France. They love it there, young and old. It was number one at the box office there that year and to this day the merchandising in Disneyland Paris is skewed towards the rat.

They’re going to revisit everything eventually because the original films aren’t as popular. It could be a sequel or a prequel or a reboot or whatever… but you can bet your bottom (Disney) dollar it will happen
