lol Sony's doing some seriously bad drugs lately. The person/people making these packaging and pricing decisions for them and Disney need to be fired.

I wouldn't be surprised if this hits the digital streaming about mid August.

At least the budget was pretty low.

I want the deleted scenes as a special feature more than anything.

I’d like a legacy documentary with the retuning stars

The most we can hope for is individual interviews with each legacy star.

Ugly. Hope we get a standard 4K. I figured Sony wouldn’t match 1-3’s slips/cover, but I assumed we would get at least a standard release.

I don’t think the 3rd film has a slipcover. At least my copy of the BD doesn’t have one.

From what I heard the remake is pretty bad it wasn’t as good of the original if you saw it. I have seen parts of the original film and it was ok but the remake is bad at least from what I understand. It’s basically a money grabber that’s all.

It does not have a slip. That’s why I said “slips/cover.” The slips being 1-2 and the matching cover being 3.

It doesn’t. It’s a MOD release after all.

It’s not a remake it’s a legacy sequel.

Not even a surprise, Sony's only released two standards in 2025, Venom 3 and Until Dawn, and the only Karate Kid: Legends is scheduled to have one next. All the rest have been steelbooks or MOD.

I hope the extras show some behind the scenes footage of JLH and FPJ on set together, at the same time lol.

Not to mention Until Dawn doesn’t have a standard Blu-ray only. Only way to get the Blu-ray is buying the 4K standard. Weird choices.

And it costs $50. For that price, it should at least be a premium release.

After just two weeks, it's already gone from the Cinemark 12 near me. Today was the last day. I hope we get a release date for the 4K UHD/BD soon.

I wonder why it’s so expensive. Will it likely get to $30-35?
