Tim Burton managed to force Disney to recall and destroy thousands of DVD copies of Ed Wood when it contained a featurette that had nothing to do with his film. But if he hadn't been able to, would he really have asked the internet community to consider a boycott?

And isn't that what you're essentially doing here (albeit a little cryptically)? Look, I'll probably never click on that stupid "game", but I'm not going to refuse to buy one of my favorite films on blu-ray just because it's there. Especially if they restore the burnt-in title cards missing from the DVD version. And don't you get paid royalties either way? I don't think a product boycott of a catalog film with (admittedly rabid but still) limited cult appeal. It's the kind of release we're lucky to be getting this early, and it's an unlikely double-dip any time soon. And while I appreciate your beef with MGM/Fox, I don't feel like going to war over it.
Well, yes, it is me. And, as to "royalties": MGM claimed 400,000 "defective" DVDs from the last release (there's that QC in action) wiped out any money they might have owned us. As to the film itself, after 24 years, it's not in profit yet, according to the company that owns it. So this isn't about money, because, for us, there isn't any. This is about supporting the people who made a film you may like, and refusing to support people who, not content with screwing them monetarily, are now screwing them creatively. Your call.

Balls......
I love This is Spinal Tap as much as anyone, and would love to have it on Blu-ray, but if someone so integral to the movie is aggrieved by its release, who can say what is the right thing to do?
Harry (one of my son's is named Harry ), can you see any way this Blu-ray will be released "with your blessing"?
Do the other guys feel the same way as you?

There isn't even a placeholder on IMDB for Shadow Moon. I can't imagine movies will ever be made for the Shadow War trilogy. They would make a pretty cool trilogy, but I just don't see it happening. But maybe some day we'll at least get Willow on Blu.
