To be fair Brian Peck seems to know everyone in Hollyweird and greased wheels for years. Look at all the people who wrote letters to his judge in 2004 asking to show leniancy (the names were unsealed). Parents would drop kids off at his house for acting lessons, the guy was very good at schmoozing. He also had pull at Disney corporate since they hired him again after he was out of jail. I won't blame Singer for being friends with a creep because it can happen to anyone. Singer might also be a creep but he seems to just be an egomaniac with the people who date him (some being young but legal aged from everything I've read). The one fishy thing about him is Brad Renfro's death as there are rumors they were involved.

I can see somebody pressure an executive into putting this up with zero actual advertising. Especially with Voight involved. Considering his ties to the current dominant political party. We’ve been seeing some unliked people gain a bit of their previous mainstream control back recently in the past year. The same could happen here.

I'm defending the core principle of 'innocent until proven guilty'. No charges and the obvious motives of the accusers.
The analogy of 'if there's smoke, there is fire" is moot in my eyes considering that would be a practical scenario. Humans are much more complicated than that.
