Out of all the films I've seen about children being sexually abused, this is probably my favourite.

Practically nobody saw this winning Best Picture coming. I had a lot of free film tickets and passed this film out to people long before it happened.

Nice announcment. Now someone do The Big Short and we'll be close to giving 2015 the respect it deserves. 'Twas a great year for movies.

Spotlight and Snowden’s announcements make me hopeful that they’ll maybe give Steve Jobs a shot. That one was my favorite of the year alongside Fury Road and it would look gorgeous in 4K HDR with 16mm, 35mm and digital all in one.

As one who works in print, this movie has a special spot in my heart. And damn right it deserves that Best Picture award.
