Actually, they have been available from Amazon the whole time. Others were as well, until they eventually sold out. These didn't.

Thanks for the info. I missed out on Sky Captain when it was first released. The DVD doesn't do it justice, especially on a big screen.

Hey everyone, Paramount titles are now becoming available. Check on Amazon, do a search PARAMOUNT BLU-RAY and you will see that some of them you can now "buy new", meaning they are in Amazon stock.

No, many of those were not available directly from Amazon for some time, as I was looking for a few of them there in November, December and January and both months they were only used and sold by 2nd part sellers.

Most of these titles were available through Amazon before Toshiba conceded. If we start seeing Shooter, We Were Soldiers, Aeon Flux, and Italian Job back in stock, then THAT is a big deal.

Picked up Lara Croft Tomb Raider & Sky Captain and The World of Tomorrow on BD at Circuit City(White Plains, NY) on Saturday. Neither one was available on Thursday when I was also in the store.

Well, maybe it has been posted before (moderators feel free to move/merge/delete this thread) but I did some quick search on amazon for paramount titles and I found

1) Blades of Glory and
2) Face off

as "currently unavailable". I find that a bit weird since some days ago, if you searched for "blades of glory blu ray", the site directed you to the DUD version)

Now, this may be nothing or amazon is preparing to give us dates for these movies. (I do not care about Blades of Glory, but I would buy Face Off!!!
