It has been working now for a couple of hours. Looks the same, not changes from what I can tell. Not sure they went off line for a few days?

it works for awhile then it stops, over and over. Possibly server maintenance.

Default You have to use www

ummm,

Just so you guys are aware. Not sure who runs that place, but it won't work unless you put a www in front of the highdefdigest part.

Hence: No linky on firefox or IE 7 with http://highdefdigest.com

but linky work with http://www.highdefdigest.com

Pretty simple stuff, you'd think someone running things would be aware of that. I figured it out since I hardly put in www for anyone anymore except for highdef

so always use the www, and it will work.

of course, works fine either way here.

I tried your second link, the one with the WWW. Still does not work for me, I keep getting the "server not found" message.

Smile Here's what's happening...

They're clearing server space to carry downloadable online content to burn to HD-DVD burners.

It's a 52-week series (meant to be played on Friday's, along with the new Nielsen numbers). Starring Michael Imperioli (who told so many of us while we were a captive audience at the theater) why H-DuD is so great - especially for film makers like himself - and why it's the future of Hi-Def:

"Sure, our numbers are down for the 104th week in a row. This trend just can't continue - especially since the latest HD-DVD players are now free when you buy a 5-pack of Bazooka Joe Bubble gum. Not only that, but if you save up 25 Bazooka Joe comics, you can get 1 of every HD-DVD movie ever made - just pay $4.95 shipping and handling. Let's see Blu-ray try to beat THAT price!"

"Plus, you can interact with the Toshiba Executives - right in the Board room! Send them your emails and petitions, reminding them to keep HD-DVD alive, regardless of how much money the shareholders are losing. By using the Picture in Picture function, you can check out all the Hari-Kari action in the executive bathroom."

"You know, the other day, I was listening to Ken Graff-"

This weeks message will have to be continued in next weeks episode... we ran out of space on this week's disc. Sorry.

HDD will make next week's episode available for download once the advertisers give them some more money to buy new servers... should be any day now... Um, Toshiba - don't you want to post an ad on our site? Hello? Microsoft?

Sh|t.

Found a fix for mac users. You can to clear your DNS. I made it even easier by resetting safari. But I would clear your cache for sure and then make sure all web browsers are closed. Then run this in terminal dscacheutil -flushcache

However to access their forums, which from what I have read they are having the most issues there, you have to enter in their IP address which is 208.115.104.158. You only have to enter this IP address one time and then you can surf their website as you normally would.

That will get highdefdigest to work. Enjoy.

well, as of 8:00 AM on Tuesday morning it isn't working for me even using the IP address. Maybe I don't know much about web site maintenance but does it take this long to fix something like this? It's been FUBAR since this weekend.
