I think Robert Rodriguez is the one of the most inspiring directors of all time. His movies might not be perfect but the way he talks about movies is awesome.

I'll have to try to find that. I have watched all of the ten minute film schools...amazing. One of the reasons he's my favorite.

In that order probably (or depending on the day Kurosawa possibly first). There are various other directors, but none match those three in breadth of titles I loved (each has 5+ movies that I could put in my all time favorites).
