I remember when I first watched Bonnie and Clyde.

I had a Favorites coupon for Blockbuster and I picked up Bonnie and Clyde. I was much more interested in renting True Lies from the new release section, but I thought I'd wait till the next month to use up my new release coupon.

Turns out I was blown away by Bonnie and Clyde, and later when I did see True Lies I thought that it sucked.

I have my order in on Amazon for Bonnie and Clyde. Can't wait!

Here are at least a couple more (and they're pretty popular titles, too!):

Planet Earth
Lost, Season 3
Discovery Atlas series (China, Italy, Brazil, Australia)

OK, so the first two are really 'regular' BD cases inside thick outer sleeves, so I suppose one could discard the sleeves, but I think they do look nice on the shelf. The Discovery Atlas BD cases, however, are just too tall.

Awful compared to brand new movies on Blu-ray or awful compared to other classic titles on Blu-ray?

With or without the "special packaging" this is a GREAT movie and a no brainer for me. Pre-ordered it the first day I could.------"Don't Sell That Cow"!!!!!

Personally I can't wait. The packaging looks great and it has been a while since I've watched this film.

It is a little disheartening that there isn't much buzz about it around here. I'm hoping for more films like this but in order for that these need to have respectable sales.
Bonnie and Clyde has been one of my favorite films since high school (I'm only 29, by the way). Anyway, I'm not sure how much it will benefit from a BD transfer, but I have to say this is easily one of the most enjoyable, watchable films released pre-1970. The acting and direction are top-notch and the script is endlessly quotable. At first I wasn't sure I'd pick this up since I already have the standard copy, but after seeing the fancy packaging I couldn't call myself a true fan if I didn't make the upgrade.

I have never seen this, but from what I am reading, I might just blind buy it. This movie seems really old to me though... (I'm 22).

Then you need to learn what old school movies are about. B+C is a timeless classic that will see off things like I-robot in 10 years.
