Be sure to play Metal Gear Solid 4 on the PS3 though, it'll come out somewhere in 2007.

Trust me, you wont regret it.

Default I do.

I bought about 10 movies before the system even came out. I have three games and most of my buddies that have a PS3 either own their content, or rent if from netflix.

Side note. I email Warner Brothers and told them that they should release the Matrix during March for the PS3 world wide launch. Now that will sell some movies. Aprox 5-6 million PS3 out buy then, and most guys that own a PS3 would by that film.

The poll must have showed up somewhere on a BD haters blog. Or one zealot clearing the cookies. Suddenly a massive flood of no's showed up in the results.

The thread still remains overwhelmingly positive towards the idea of using the PS/3 as BD movie player.

That always happens after someone posts a Blu-ray poll here. We have some hd dvd lurkers They know who they are. So do we

I've even thought of saying before: If you see a Blu-ray poll, don't post the link here, pass it along to someone who you know is tru-Blu otherwise the Appointed Vastcompression Squad will attack in a few days or hours like virii!

Happens everytime!

Lately their concentrated attacks have become less effective with time as the Blu Nation grows

I was guilty of posting it on HiDefDigest forums yesterday. In less than 24 hours the 87% stating they will buy Blu-ray movies with their PS3 dwindled to the 60 percentile range.

It appears the times are getting even more desperate for HD DVD proponents.

I tossed my vote into the mix. One game and 3 BD titles not including Ricky Bobby. Strapped for cash since Christmas rolled around right after gaming madness, but I intend to buy more, and get new released on BD only.

Yes isn't it amazing that for 4 days the poll, (which was hundreds above the minimum 30 samples to get a fair statistical analisis) stays at about 13-14% not Blu-ray. Then in 24 hours Wham! the number of non Blu-rayers triples in just one day, to 40%. Heh.

Yeah, to use dobyblue's words, it appears a "Miracle on Murchinson Street" happened there.

Ain't that da truth! That angers me so much that I'm putting more dollars behind this format than I would have ordinarily. I'm pissed again. I'm going to buy a couple more Blu-ray titles tomorrow! I now have 6 PS3 games. The rest you can see in my signature line.

I ended up getting 6 BD titles instead of 2 (I'm an addict...what else can I say?). I'm happy that I finally caught up with ProvenFlipper!
