I've seen a couple of asian dudes here in Toronto grabbing all the X-Box HD-DVD drives they can find in retailers hoping they'll sell on E-Bay. Um... it's like a VCR or Laserdisc machine now. Good luck!

The set HDDVD release date was 3/11/2008.
And Dreamwork Animation said they have to stick to HD DVD on 2/21/2008.

It is very common that when they decided to not to release bee movie HDDVD, the discs were already on the fedex truck to retailers.

That press release was made due to troubles with the contract between toshiba and dreamworks. The title never got pressed. Also, paramount is well known in the industry of pressing their discs the closest to the street date, its not like warner where they press discs months in advance.

Interesting... I sold mine for about $300 a few years ago.

I used to sell a lot of movies on Ebay that I was able to find cheap and then make double or triple what I paid. There were a lot of people back then who just didn't know where to look and I did.
