Think I'm nuts?

Not a single person who has left his employ while the shows were still on have had success

Greenwalt- Every show cancelled, even the good ones. Tim Minear, same thing. Amber Benson- Didn't give up theother job to play the first- Retribution was swift

Ira Behr just can't seem to get a break. Old BlueBeard is one of the bestshowrunners in the biz, and 4400 is a testament to that. I've put in some emails asking about it from people who would know, but haven't gotten a response back, and my friend in LA couldn't make it out to the picket line to ask Ira while there still was one

Trail of bodies for them also includes Drive, the "let's put it on Sunday, and cancel it the following Monday" show.
Amber Benson was asked to be The First? Geez, that was dumb to turn down. Not that it was much of a part on screen... Fillion was great as Caleb though.

I don't find the Firefly axing anywhere near as harsh as Tru Calling. A) it didn't end on a devastating-baddies-winning abrupt end. B) They got to make a movie to tie things up.

I'm looking forward to seeing Dushku and Whedon together again with Dollhouse.

And Dushku was at the end of Buffy, remember...

Who knows what has happened to Gellar though... Been very quiet - although maybe intentionally. I liked The Return though.

Editing bad? Like what for example? Or are you talking about ad breaks being put in nastily? I'm watching it on DVD so can't comment on butchered TV broadcasting.

I never watched Jericho, but I know how the Jericho fans feel. I was a big fan of Journeyman and NBC had to go and cancel it. Hopefully it gets picked up by Sci-Fi or someone else, but now that it has been almost 4 months and the actors doing other things, I doubt it will happen.

At least you got a second season. Everyone knew going in that it was likely one and done for the show. I just think about the many good shows FOX has axed. Justice comes to mind. Fox played the lets move nights on it like 3 times before they axed it before it finished its whole season. At least with Journeyman we got a whole season. Networks cannot afford to have these shows an noone watch them but sometimes you gotta take a loss to gain. THE OFFICE is the greatest example. When it started the ratings were dismal and it was almost cancelled, and low and behold it now one the biggest shows for NBC.

Now that really pisses me off. What will they replace it with, another lame ass reality show. Have never watched one and never will. Everytime the wife and I get into something they cancel, CBS can blow me.

CBS has no one to blame but themselves for the ratings, from cutting the first season in half to putting it in a time slot this season that is all but guarantied to fail at 10pm on a Tuesday, the blame lies with CBS and not the viewers.

Regardless like i said im done with anything these networks think they have to offer, nothing but sports and discovery type shows for me from now on.
