I think $350 MSRP for a 1.1 profile player is fine. It'll be streeting for $299 soon enough, give them a few months to make a fatter profit margin off of their initial foray into the market.

Prices are falling much faster than they did with DVD players, we don't need to go "ZOMG players are too expensive!!!" every time a new player is announced.

IF Toshiba were to sell a BD player for $199, I would be first in line.

According to Consumer Electronics Daily Wal*Mart should be carrying this Blu-ray player sometime in Q3 for a maximum price of $249.

That would be very nice...I am sure that by the holidays (Q4) this player will be had for $200. I am all for the mass adoption of Blu.
