THe only explanation I remember hearing was where Artie said Whats Blu-ray? And Robin said its High Def, Howard then quickly moved on to the next subject..... The same thing happened on both days that it was mentioned that his movie was coming out on Blu-ray. The 1st time I heard it mentioned I belive was Thursday last week and that was at the end of the show (by the cal in). Howard pushed past it quickly to get out of the studio. Steve Langford mentioned it as a news story (Wednesday, Thursday), again the discussion was shut down quickly to move the show on. Not trying to say that it didnt happen, jsut dont remember hearing anything further on it on the show in the past few weeks.

The only delving into Blu-ray HD DVD that I can remember was back when WB went Blu and Robin used it as a story. They had a discussion where Howard said that he had a Blu-ray player. Recently though It hasnt come up. Ive been listening for it too ......

That is interesting. I sent the Howard 100 News and The Stern Show an Email a few weeks ago stating how it was coming out on Blu-Ray. I also linked them to a thread on this site showing how people were excited about it. I wonder if that is what they went off of? I hadn't listened to the show for a little while to see if anything was said.

I will avoid this movie like the plague. Artie sucked on Entourage, he sucked writing this movie, he sucked in this movie and he sucks on the Stern show. Ever listen to Stern when Artie's out recovering from heroin? It's ten times better. Artie's loud gaping fat annoying mouth yells over other people trying to have a normal conversation and it renders the show unlistenable. I cancelled Sirius mostly because of Artie Lange (and somewhat because of Eric the Midget.)

I think Stern is just trying to fill time until his contract expires. Even with all the uncensorship and money, he is a very unhappy man. 30 minute conversations with Eric the Midget that go nowhere. Several weeks off for vacation a year. Commercials (I'm not gonna harp on this one too much. They need potty breaks and Sirius needs the money.)

Artie Lange is a talentless hack. I tried to watch beer league and turned it off a quarter of the way through. I felt sorry for Ralph Macchio.

haha.... uh.... I might get put in "time out" if I try to explain it!

really though... it's a bunch of out-of-shape Jersey guys in a slow-pitch softball league, full of racey jokes..... it's Artie Lange humor

Also....

As a huge fan of the show, I never heard the "explanation" or "correction" by Artie, but I'm not saying it's not possible, but I don't know if he even knows who distributed his film!

Also, I listen EVERY DAY (but friday) If HE said it, It would have been either while I was in a work meeting, etc, and could have been on the wrap-up show that he sits in on sometimes (although I listen to that too..... I'm a junkie what can I say! )

either way, arguing about it here doesn't really mean anything.......

ckenisell,

What do you have against Eric The Midget, who will be touring to find the world's hottest stripper, you can see his next appearance, at Little Lu-Lu's, courtesy of the Johnny Fratto Social Club, in association with Stick-Am.com and MidgetSpace.com

I apologize to all for the inside references! (he's been a plug-***** for the past 2 months now)

I disagree. Im a fan of artie on Stern and thought he was great on Mad TV. I waill agree that Beer League was not great. It had some really funny parts though and I'll still buy it on BLU because I do think its worth $10 bucks.
