What movie company have the rights for Critters and will we ever get them on BD?

It would be nice but I wonder how far up this is on Warner's list of titles they're dying to put out on BD. Thanks to this thread I had a blast re-watching the first tonight from my UK box set (and will go over the rest the following evenings). Noticed "Neelix" as one of the actors in this too.

They'd probably release a 2 disc set of all 4 just to get them out there. Just slap Dicaprio's face on the box, and there you go. Instant sales. lol.

I believe this was an independently done fan project. It was entitled "Critters: Rehatched", they even launched a twitter page back then but that is now gone and at this point I think that project is dead and buried. The wiki entry has no reference to it and should be removed.

I really wish they would release the first one, at least. I've never even seen parts three and four, but I've been wanting to watch the first one for quite a while now.

Critters 2 is one of my favorite horror/comedy sequels of all time. Just a fun as hell movie, really. Not as fond of 3/4 but would gladly by the first two in this series.

i would really like to see these released on blu-ray even as a warner double feature. these two are early childhood favorites of mine. I could care less if Critters 3 and 4 get blu releases or not.

The entire quadrilogy has aired in HD fairly recently and so they at least appear to have hi-def masters they can pull from for a blu release(s). Fingers crossed.

These 2 fun sci-fi horror comedies need the high def treatment. I'd love to see Warner do a special edition to both with documentaries by Red Shirt, commentaries, deleted scenes even the TV cut scenes from Critters 2's TV cut, trailers, TV spots and interviews.
