Urgh...European Vacation. Actually, that's not fair, it was a pretty good flick (comedy wise) but those two they had playing Audrey and Russ just got on my last dang nerve. I can't stand them -- has to be one of the worst castings in history. But maybe that's just me...

It did have it's funny moments -- Pig In a Poke (*sings* it's great to be a glutton -- oink, OINK!*)

But yeah, hard to get past the kids in that one...

He's doing some TV now. . .he had a very good dramatic role on "Law & Order" last season. And he appeared on a few episodes of "Brothers & Sisters".

I'd like to see "Foul Play" on BD.

You can see it tomorrow (4/8) on HD Movie Net at 11:45 a.m. PT.

I've also seen many of the movies listed here on various HD movie channels over the past few months: Vactaion, Caddyshack, Deal of the Century, European Vacation, Fletch, Vegas Vacation, Seems Like Old Times, Fletch Lives. Btw, what about Under the Rainbow? That movie never even came out on DVD. I still have it on VHS.

Yeah, I want to see "Under the Rainbow" too, because out of all the movies Chevy Chase has done, that's the only one that I haven't seen. By the way, is it pretty good? Are Chevy and Carrie Fisher any good in the movie?

I remember thinking that movie was hilarious when I first saw it on Showtime in the early '80s. It's been so many years since I've seen it I couldn't even begin to critique it now. But it's basically about the shenanigans of the little people off the set during the filming of The Wizard of Oz.

Btw, I recorded Memoirs of an Invisible Man from HD Movie Net this week. I hadn't seen that movie since I rented it on laser disc.

Deal of the Century - yes, great flick. Gregory Hines was in it too.

From what I've heard. He burned his bridges in Hollywood. Blew all his money on hookers and blow. Lost all his money and friends. Kevin Smith met him at sundance a few years ago and said if he could ever unmeet a person it would be Chevy Chase. I guess he is a loser in real life now.

On the topic of losers in real life the old dude that used to host access Hollywood. Well he just got out of rehab. I heard a story on the radio where a fan walked up to him and he was wasted slurring giving her his room number.
