Not true, but I realize you were probably being facetious.

It's honestly been a great way to keep up with a lot of people that I have to deal with on a fairly frequent basis - and no, not all of them are under 20. Though I do work with teenagers so it works well in that regards. But I've been able to reconnect with a lot of people that I had lost touch with over the years...

And if you listen to a lot of music its fantastic. Darn near every label out there makes a lot of their acts build pages for promo purposes, and it makes it easy to keep up with tours and who's going where, etc. I've found a lot of awesome bands through Myspace Music.

That's my take on it.

I have one for a few reasons. The main reason is that I've found it pretty invaluable in keeping in contact with people I don't see very often anymore, if at all. I've reconnected with some people from other states I used to live in. I also get a big kick out of making goofy pages for me and my friends.

You can view my page through the link in my sig. Don't ask me to add you though. I only add people who are truly friends. No offense to anyone here.

I have one...best way to keep up with local bands and when they are playing.

Just don't expect any polls or glitter pics.

www.myspace.com/maverros
Used it mostly to keep in contact with my guild from World of Warcraft...hence my char name after the website. I haven't touched WOW in over 18 months and I'm clean and sober...<shudders thinking about WOW>

I feel the same way about 'Evercrack'. My wife and I used to have some drag-outs over that game... I'm glad we don't anymore.

I've got one. I hate talking on the phone so it's a good way to keep in touch with people, especially those I don't see too often. I guess that makes me under 20 But then again, I'm also not a true Blu-ray fan because I use a PS3 as my player . . . love those generalizations.

Nah, I have myspace blocked at my DNS, HOSTS File, Router, and in the Internet Settings (that last one is near pointless).

When I can successfully break into someone else's profile, then I know it's time for me to block any in my family from using it. (and I'm not a super-hacker or anything either)

Next up: Facebook. I haven't been fully able to exploit it, but coming close. Once I do, it's gone as well.

the 2600 Winter issue has some good info in it about how to exploit the Facebook Apps. That's what I have been going off of.

In fact, someone has posted a screencast of this hack being executed in under 60 seconds, including commentary, on YouTube. See this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w65s1iyXqLo

Edit: As a disclaimer, I'm not aiming to distribute hacking methods. These methods are readily available, and there are more detailed ones that you can find for Facebook, but I won't post here.

Never had one, never looked at the site, and when people ask me if I have one, I give them a business card with my email address, and cell #
