I like martial arts flicks, all I ever said is that I have a preference for the ones where they don't fly around. The caveat being if they really embrace that craziness I'm ok with it, but it detracts from the movie when suddenly they get to the flying over the rooftops sequence. This was never an argument for 100% realism in every aspect of a movie, it was an opinion that the movies are better when they don't take the fact that they are movies too far. Reread the thread and you'll note I'm not the one that said all martial arts flicks are unrealistic, so anything goes, deal with it.

If anything American movies are more at fault as trying to play off the above things more realistically.

Ultimately just relax these movies are all for people to enjoy not to be offended because people can not fly or float . If you are not into martial arts flicks than that's fine but don't rip on them for stupid reasons.
Man i thought if you eat wheaties you can dodge anything! Seriously though i agree with you on all that you said.

Look, it may not be to your taste, that's all

From the trailer i seen, it doesn't seem like the 'flying' is as bad as crouching tiger

I'll be watching it, it looks like an entertaining film

Have you seen half of his American films? I really enjoyed this one but I do hope if they make a second movie it is a little less family oriented.
