Honestly, it is just going to tarnish the image more then anything. This isnt the old VHS/Betamax period where the only way to watch porn was to go to a movie theater or buy a VHS tape. You can get it anywhere. Also, most porn titles sell 3000 copies on average. The BD lines are going full blast with real movies and ps3 games all day and night, for them to have to swap it out for a miniscule number like that is assinine.

Honestly, i am overjoyed with all the porn companys going hd-dvd. And AVS seems to be too! Its all about porn now, i love it!

BDA as a whole, may not want to become the side that took porn-industry 'first'.

Because, release of porn BRs is performed in Japan by similar progress. HD DVD first, then BR.

Makes sense to me. I don't think Sony or the BDA would want to be associated with "leading the charge" to get porn on high-def. They're not going to restrict it, they're just not in a hurry to get out content.

I think it has more to BD replicators, what few there are, are just clogged up with bookings until 2008. Replicators are more inclined to do more pressings than to stop-and-load for small batches.

Porn on DVD is about US$40-60. So that's rather average.

I'm sure eventually a company similar to D-Box will build a "motion" track and include them in their BDs and marketing their "motion" suits for male and female. Mark my words!
