God of War III to Feature Online Play?

Well my thoughts are...I wonder how much gore will be involved? Blood splattered, torsos torn, limbs ripped, not to mention all in full 1080p. I think Jack Thompson has found a new war to lose against.

None of the games mentioned are platformers. Some games can do it, and some games you cant. GOD3 is too much of a platformer to have a MP component. You wouldnt have a co-op Tomb Raider game.

Also. Look how online MP can hurt a franchise. Ratchet and Clank had its worse outing with deadlocked. They concentrated too much on MP and made for a lacking SP experience.

COD4, while being awesome in most aspects, is still only a 6 hour single player game.

As far as anyone knows. The release date is March of next year. GOW3 hasn't been finished, let alone finished for a while.

agreed. Multi-player is the way to go. I and my friend are still waiting for another game like Untold Legends which we beat the week we got it. I think the Playstation 3 has too many single player games, it lacks Multi-player games which might turn people away to buy the Xbox 360 and Wii... I predict that GoW 3 will kick ass with 2-player co-op, 60fps running in 1080p native!!! Ahhh I can't wait.
