Don't get so defensive or even take anything people say in this forum remotely personal. If what you say is true then just like anything in this world you have to start at the bottom and learn your way up.

Welcome!

Hate to be harsh but that's what I've picked up from coming here and why I don't really bother with the forums. They seem to only exist for people that want to pat their own back and try to e-Press everone with the money they've wasted to have a huge library full of second-rate movies in high def that aren't worth watching once let alone owning.
And yet, here you are, posting as if you are some how holier-than-all, proclaiming your exhaltedness of being able to rise above it all yet still wallow in the filth. Now that's talent. No, wait, no it's not, it's hypocritical.

The truth of the matter is that, like the rest of the world, there's all kinds on this forum. And like the real world, you learn to ignore those that annoy you (you can block them out completely so you don't even see their posts unless someone's quoting them), and interact with those that are helpful and informative.

Welcome to the forum, hope you learn a lot and one day impart that knowledge on the next newbie you meet!

Well, I'd like to say welcome. If my previous statement bothered you, I apologize. I just thought the end of the format war was heavily covered by the media, and thought most people know. Allow me to eat crow now.

So, um, why are you here? That second statement I've bolded seems a bit hypocritical to me.

Personally, I like coming here to learn. None of us know everything here. None of us pretend to. I'll admit, there are those who are extremely self-confident and arrogant, but that exists in real life too. The moral "high-horse" is just as high when you make blanket statements like these.

Looks like Spikesblublood beat me to it while I was typing.

*sniff-sniff* UH-OH!! I smell a troll in our midst!! (I wish they had a "smilie" for a troll).

Obviously, kylexitron5000 started one too many threads asking when Transformers, Lord of the Rings, and Star Wars would be released, got his poor little feelings hurt and now he's back with a vengeance. He's on a mission to help save all the other newbies (of which I am one myself) from a little hazing.

So, you didn't like Underworld 2, heh? Well, I personally enjoyed it, as well as the first one, and I'm actually looking forward to the prequel. I'm sure others probably despise it as well as despising other movies I like. Still yet others may enjoy a movie that I wouldn't give money, or time, to watch. But I can assure you that many people on this board do only purchase movies that they like. Sure there may be a several on this board who purchase movies for the sake of having a "huge library", but that is for them to decide and live with. Keep that in mind when you go out to purchase your all time favorite Step Up 2 .

As for me, I like this board, I take my lumps, and I appreciate some of the insight of some of the members. Based on your post, however, I do have a board you might be interested in. It's probaly right up your alley. http://www.psychforums.com/ You sound like you might have some real "daddy" issues yourself.
