2.5 on a HD review would BE DVD quality...

I will have to watch the movie in the morning, because it is so loud it shakes the walls, and my neighbors will complain.

I mean come on, you have to listen to Twister loud, to not would defeat the whole purpose of the movie.

Universal was scheduled to release Twister here on May/15/2008. I hope that they release a non-filtered transfer on Blu-ray with DTS-HD MA soon.

good to hear, every professional review I've read said it's a better picture than the DVD. I think my old DVD wasn't even anamorphic...

If someone were to give me Twister for free, I would immediately trade it in for a much better movie.

I looked on Amazon.jp and didn't see a listing for Twister.

You know Mark Mancina?! Thats cool...my favorite score of all time is the Bad Boys theme, which he composed.

Twister's another reason why Speed was a fluke on Jan De Bont's directing resume.

Whats wrong with a 3, or 2.55, or even a 2.51?

Heh, good call.

Anyway, since I wanted to verify a few things, ended up watching part of the DVD again last night as well. So, I watched the blu-ray twice and a good portion of the DVD once. I really can't see anyone being disappointed with the upgrade. While I didn't think the upscaled DVD was as bad as some have said, the blu-ray still has signficantly better PQ & SQ. It became much more obvious watching it back to back like that.
