Easily, without a doubt, THE BEST for PQ is 'CARS'!

Because it is animation, there was no film utlized in its transferrence to Blu-ray. Therefore, the image is coming across as clearly as it can possibly be on Blu-ray. Until the next generation of Home Media discs comes out, I still think that 'Cars' will remain the undisputed champion... or, at least, tied for the top step of the podium.

from what I've read: I, Robot

from what I've seen: Casino Royale, Apocolypto, POTCMC

and it looks like Chronicles of narnia is gonna be great.

My picks..

Casino Royale
POTC Trilogy
I Robot

I like Mr & Mrs Smith on BD alot. But some people think it looks too processed, devoid of grain etc. But I would suggest it as well.

Sidebar: Why is everyone so in love with I, Robot? The film was barely average. I felt like I knew the lines before they were even said.

I would actually say that Layer Cake looks phenomenal. It really does. The colors are so natural and it never gets grainy during night scenes like so many blu rays do.

There are films on blu ray that are better, but as far as PQ goes this is by far at the top of the list.

That's precisely my point. It might have a great picture, but if it's not a good movie, why bother? I'm much more impressed by good movies with great picture (e.g. 2001, Blade Runner) than mediocre movies with spectacular picture (I, Robot). I really don't see myself paying money to own the latter until it's in a Wal-Mart bargain bin. However, donations are welcome.

Yeah I agree, though it is entertaining, it's a stupid movie. I'm going to have stop slacking and finally pick up Blade Runner, I'm kicking myself for not getting it from Amazon when it was $19.95.

There are a lot of them that look great.

I, Robot is my pick for the top PQ/SQ although that may change with the Chronicles of Narnia or maybe even Saawariya (hope to watch it tonight but it's supposed to have phenomenal PQ).

Cars - probably has the best PQ/SQ out of the animated titles and maybe overall.

A lot of the other great looking titles have been listed already so I won't bother to add more to the list.

Best selling so far is probably 300 although the POTC 3 (At World's End) is up there as well. Some of the newer titles are probably selling pretty well but haven't been out long enough to challenge either of those.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say maybe it's because different people have different tastes in movies? Nah, what I'm thinking, I'm sure that's not the case. I don't have a clue as to why, sorry.

I, Robot shines with perfection
Lost Season 3 is amazing (check out the outdoor scenes!)
300 looks superb (don't mind the intentional film grain)
Harry Potter 3 - 5 look simply fantastic
Pirates of The Caribbean 1 and 2 are stunning

Surprised I haven't seen it mentioned yet but:

Crank - great PQ

Best selling I've always assumed to be 300 but that might have changed.

I like the PQ on the following discs to show folks what BD is all about:

Casino Royale
POTC - The Curse of The Black Pearl
I, Robot
Live Free or Die Hard
Mr. & Mrs. Smith
Kingdom of Heaven
The Golden Compass
300
Underworld Evolution

As the saying goes, opinions are like a**holes, everybody has one. You consider 2001 a good movie, while I consider it a good cure for insomnia; I've never stayed awake past the first half hour. Meanwhile, I quite enjoy I, Robot.
I haven't picked it up on Blu-Ray yet, but even if 2001 were in the bargain bin, I still wouldn't pay money for it.

As for the best looking Blu-Ray, just slide my picture in above the front cover and you'll have the best looking Blu-Ray around...
