The odds of Star Wars being released this year are infinitesimally small. Lucas himself has come out and stated that it'd be a few more years before it was even considered.

This may be true, and I don't mean to be an idiot about it, but you've got to realize that some people have limited information, and Star Wars and Lord of the Rings are probably the two most wanted series on Blu Ray, so it would make sense for them to be released as soon as possible.

I actually was expecting to see the rest of Michael Bay's films this year (Except for maybe The Island and Transformers)

But Bad Boys II has been advertised from the start and I still haven't heard ANYTHING about it. But I was hoping they'd release Bad Boys I & II this summer, but it's looking kind of slim.

As for Armageddon, had the master not been burned, I was expecting a 10th Anniversary edition of it on both Blu-Ray and DVD considering there wasn't even an anamorphic version released ever.

I know Criterion puts out some of his movies, but who owns the rights for his stuff. Is it on a movie by movie basis?
On a related note, can anyone recommend a black and white blu ray that i could compare to the DVD release? Alot of people i know are not convinced B&W movies can be improved with a high def transfer. I think this notion is silly, but want the proof.

Bad Boys 1 will come out when 2 comes out.

Barring any future douchebaggery and shenanigans from Paracrap Pictures, hopefully the Indaiana Jones movies, Iron Man, and.... Transformers.

I'm stopping right now as I know that I could make a really looooooooong list.
