Keep an eye out at your local Walmarts. Its my understanding they are all switching. My local store has 0 HD-DVDs now. Like someone else stated lots of $14-$19 catalog titles like Terminator 2, Total Recall, oh yeah and they have the not so ellusive Shooter back in stock for $19.99 as well as all Paramount titles like Face/Off and such all for the same low price. Keep checking your Walmarts they seem to be positioning themselves to give Amazon a run! I am loving this, no more waiting for shipping of $19 titles!

Absolutely. I picked up Face/Off and Shooter earlier and took in as much as I could, though I had to get to work. I'm going back later to see if any more showed up (there were many place holders this morning).

The Fry's near me in Tejas has it for $22.99 and they won't price match the promotion going on in Cali. Sucks! I'm trying to find it anywhere I can for no more than $19.99. And Walmart won't pick up the phone for a simple stock check.

You called it. The one near my house had jack (like it always does), but I hit up the Super Center on the way home from work after reading this thread, and damn, they had a giant row and the display with demo and everything. And sure enough, all the Paramount re-releases at 19.96. Sweet!

I finally found Face/Off at the Walmart down the street from my house. This was pretty cool because they had two employees expanding the blu-ray section from one to three cases. They were stocking them from an entire shopping cart loaded with Blu-rays. I could not believe my eyes when she handed me Face/ Off. And to top it off, the price was/is $19.96. Not too shabby IMO. We don't need no stinking Fry's(today).

Try Walmart. That was the one place I didn't check today but after seeing others mentioning finding Bee Movie, Face/Off and some others at Walmart, I checked both of the ones by me and they had it (and some of the others as well).

Correct. Don't be like me. I went to a couple of places expecting stock only to find nothing. I usually prepare better. I was pleasantly surprised with what I walked into at Walmart. Lots of titles and lower retail prices than any other stores in my area.

I hear you. Walmart was last on my list after Target, BB, CC, Borders and B and N. Couldnt believe how much stock they had. Me thinks I will be heading there first next time....

Unhappy Stupid Walmart

I went to walmart today, excited to get Face/Off and saw that they have a whole 3 shelf lengths devoted to blu releases, but they are not stocked AT ALL!. I asked someone and he said "everything should be back to normal by the weekend". It's f** tuesday!. ugh. i blame redneck shopping centers for the #1 reason blu-ray has not killed dvd yet.

My local Target had Face Off in stock. Picked one up. Should have checked Walmart or Fry's first.

I went to the register at Fry's in Dallas and tried to get it for $19.99. No luck in my attempt. I just can't buy blu's for more than $19.99. Anyway, I stopped at a Super Walmart a block from my house on the way home from Fry's and found it for 3 cents less at $19.96. I was very pleased and pleasantly surprised!

I picked up Face/Off, MI 3 and Shooter at my local Wal-Mart at $19.96 a piece plus 10% discount at midnight.

I could not believe that I was holding Shooter in my hands and I just laughed at all the impatient people who paid ridiculous amount of money for it.

Our local walmart (not a super) is also expanding to 3 cases, but they had almost nothing in stock. All I found was Face Off. No national treasure or any other new releases.
