I just finished watching this. VERY nice disc. PQ and AQ are exceptional. I only noticed a few white speckles throughout the whole film. The only flaw I saw was a bit of banding in one of the fade-to-black scenes, but it was pretty quick. Other than those, the PQ is great. SQ is wonderful too, a very spacious mix with a LOT of LFE! You'll find out if your sub is up to snuff or not with this one, as it dips pretty low in some scenes (the one that comes immediately to mind is the scene where Rambo is fashioning his knife). The surrounds are used very aggressively and overall I felt like I was right in the middle of the action. I definitely recommend this disc.

And yes, this does come with the two security stickers in addition to the top sticker, but all three of mine peeled off leaving no residue.

Holy cow! Just got through watching it and I can't believe how violent/gory it was. Loved it though (the movie). I echo the others, PQ/SQ are good but noticed a few while speckles here and there. Really loved the rainy night scenes with the lights reflecting off the leaves and stuff. Looked great. I like the steely blue/gray color in those scenes.

I thought Harrison Ford was quite good . . . he just wasn't given much to work with

I'm checking out the BonusView commentary right now. Stallone is usually pretty good for this sort of thing.

We might see Stallone do another Cobra film. Might as well. He's doing a good job bringing these Icons back so far.

yeah i guess... i'm just so dissapointed that i am tearing the whole movie and everyone in it right now... just a big let down.

Rambo on the other hand when i saw it in Jan was a movie i thought would be a joke and walked out wishing the Blu Ray was released the next day..

I'm definitely feeling you there. I'd recommend a second viewing for Jones though. I hated it the first time, but saw it a second and enjoyed it quite a bit. Definitely the worst of the series, but I had fun the second time. Loved Rambo through and through on the first viewing though.

Just watched this tonight after buying it this morning. Excellent picture quality, night scenes as usual suffer a little, but nowhere near as much as other movies I've seen. The sound is beautiful! I was nearly blown out of my chair with the explosion! (You know which one I mean) Definately a must have for anybody that likes action movies in any way shape or form!

Which don't work, was at Circuit City picking it up, and they had one in the very front I picked up. Didn't notice the lack of price tag, was looking the movie over and noticed the tape on the side was cut. Opened it a little, and the movie was gone. Put it back, picked up another one, and went on my merry way.

I thought it wasn't bad.... I just rented it from BB (gonna return it tomorrow for that $1 credit..lol). I knew I'd like it from the beginning when the guy is *****ing at Rambo that he doesn't want anymore cobra's and Rambo just say's F@#k You... lol.. the action was great, I watched some extra footage on the weapons and they got one of the best guys in the biz to do the weapons and most of the gore was pretty realistic of what would happen with those weapons.... videogames have made me an expert on weapons now.. lol... loved the sniper, that was nice.

Rented it last night from Blockbuster and it is good to see them getting multiples of new BD releases.

Not the greatest story obviously but I did find it entertaining. Thought the PQ and AQ were very good.

Get some popcorn ready with your favorite accompanying beverage and you should be good to go as long as you don't have very high expectations.

Was a good movie short but action packed. The final fight seen was a good one, love that 50 cal turret gun sound.

Got a laugh also from watching the older trailers for rambo 1 through 3, they sound like some old 70's to 80's porno previews.

I'll watch it tonight.

Picked it up from Blockbuster yesterday, but couldn't watch it because of the Lakers game... And what a great game it was.

Anyone notice the beefed up supply blockbuster has for this movie? When I went there they had like 10 copies. All other Blu-rays had 2 max.

I liked the Rambo III trailer. It reminded me how crap most of todays action movies are.

Doubt anyone did but I'll ask anyway. Did anyone try the Molog feature? I did since I had checked out the BD-Live feature on Saw IV and wanted to see what kind of scenes they used on this one. It took a really, really, long time to download something though. I basically started the process and then switched inputs and watched TV for a while, just checking on it occasionally. Eventually, I had some sort of error but was able to launch the feature. I just ended up watching the demo of it though. Anyway, just curious if anyone tried the feature and if so, did things load quickly or did it take a while?
