I'm not saying my opinion is the be all end all, I'm lending some input to the many people who said it would be a blind buy. I didn't say don't buy it, I said don't blind buy it. If you're so bothered by one person's opinion being contrary to your own, it has a 5.9/10 on imdb and a 16 % out of 100 with an average rating of 4/10 on rottentomatoes.

No need to be an ass when I'm trying to do people a favor. It sucks to go out and spend money on something you regret later.


Off subject now and into my own opinions. As for the comments on acting; Anakin aside, someone needs to get Rachel Bilson to stop acting. I just don't know where to start with this girl, she can't act to save her life, her voice is like nails on a chalkboard, and she needs so much make-up to attain a semblance of attractiveness it's disgusting.

Stop seeing movies based on hotness, and see them on talent. Buy real porn where you can see these people naked with no imagination required so crappy actresses and actors stop infecting good movies

I actually walked out of this movie (good thing I don't have to pay for Cinema). I think this is definitely the kind of movie that you should rent first. Oh, and make that 5$ each

If you want to check out a film whose Blu-ry version is AVC at 35mbps, check out "Curse of the Golden Flower".

So much unbelievably beautiful color. Colors and gold on costumes, buildings, etc.

It's partially martial-arts, partially epic battle, partially palace intrigue.

But entirely stunning, visually. And the audio kicks ass, too (high bitrate DTS-HD MA).

I haven't seen Jumper yet, but *damn*...high-end AVC can really kick it.

I thought it was a great idea and the movie had a quick pace. The pq is top notch so it would be a great demo disc, I want it. Will shop around for the best price though.

I thought the movie was alright,
wasn't utter garbage but wasn't that great either.

Good to see the pq/aq reviews though.
if it goes on sale or featured in a bogo, I'll pick it up.

I actually really like Rachel Bilson!

I never paid any attention to her during her short scenes on "Buffy", but she, Adam Brody and Peter Gallagher MADE "The O.C.", and she's actually one of the reasons I want to see "Jumper" (though I'll probably wait for a deal on the movie), and it has NOTHING to do with her looks... those are just plusses!
