Haha when I first saw the trailer for the second one awhile back I went and got the first one at Wal-Mart for $5 lol. This'll be the first time I'll be able to compare a DVD and a Blu-ray lol. But I love this movie and I'll gladly get this one and the second one!

Lets see I had The Lost Boys on VHS,Laserdisc,DVD,and now I will get the Blu-Ray. The Lost Boys is a great movie.One of the best movies from the 80's. It has a great cast,great music,and a great story.
I sure hope it looks and sound great on Blu-Ray?

one of my favourite vampire movies from the 80s (with Near Dark and the legendary Fright Night), the Coreys were awesome!

Kind of an offbeat question, but I was thinking of being "David" from the original Lost Boys for halloween Saturday night. It's been a while since I've seen the movie. I have a black overcoat, denim jacket, and black shirt I could use, but I can't remember what kind of pants he wore in the movie. I think they were black but couldn't remember if they were like leather pants or jeans. If anyone knows it would help me out. Thanks.

Thanks. Yeah, i'm going to have to do with out the mullet, but it should still look okay. Now, i just have to find a pair of black jeans. Beats leather pants though!

Walmart has the Blu Ray version for $10. I just picked up a copy today. One of my favorite movies from the 80's. I am a Lost Boy FANatic

Amazon has "The Lost Boys" down for (re)release on August 16, 2011.

Anyone know what the difference between this and the existing version will be?

Seems like they are also releasing The Thirst again, which makes sense as it seems to be OOP. Hopefully it's a new version of these two, as The Lost Boys is one of my Top 5 favorite movies.

They're doing this with quite a few titles. My guess is that they're including a DVD copy.

WB is also rereleasing various horror titles that day, along with The Final Destination 3D which includes money for FD5, so perhaps these are just rereleases with movie money?
