I get hella good discounts on Blu-ray at Hastings, especially on used and previously viewed. I picked up Live Free or Die Hard for 12 bucks, the whole Planet Earth collection for 15. If it's a brand new release I only get like 3 or 4 dollars off, pretty much enough to cover tax.

I get a 10% discount number sent to me on the 1st of every month for my old work (play.com), seems they forgot to take me off the list when i left a year and a half ago!

I also get 35% off of a certain clothes store i used to manage.

That price for the TH-50PZ85 is the same price my dad paid for his TH-50PZ85 and he does not work for CC or BB(he got it at CC). That being said I get corporate discounts from my employer(Gannett) on many things. Got a nice discount on my '06 Apple Imac, I also get a monthly discount on my Verizon wireless bill. Perks are nice.

My company offers, I believe, the same corporate perks. However, I've go on there once in a while, just to see what's offered, and its usually random discounts on random stuff. Sure, some of the online store discounts aren't too bad, but in general I think most of them are junk offers (Save 10% on orders over $150, Free Shipping on $50 or more, etc.).

AND decent employee accomodations. Before I quit I picked up a 52" Sharp well under employee price in-store.

My wife used to work for Wachovia...it got us 12.5% off our Cingular/AT&T bill but that went away when we bought i-phones. No discounts allowed on that plan...

This is the first credible information I have heard on the Panasonic Accommodation. If your managers are right, which I hope they are this news made my day. Now I just need to figure out if I should get the 50 inch 800 or the 850.

Nobody is spending that kind money on DLP's anymore. $3399.99 is a suggested retail price but they actually retail for $2000.00

There still is no talk of the Panasonic accommodation at my best buy, unless my managers just don't know. who knows july is coming up quick.

My large corporation gets all of us 20% off most cell phone services and new phones. We also get 12% off of computers and parts from Dell or Lenovo. I get free after hours parking in Hartford, cheap but comprehensive car and home insurance, discounted SHowcase and Hoyt's tix, and many other ticket discounts all year for comedians, concerts, pro-sports, and plenty more.

Any other BBY employees hear any info on when the Panasonic Accommodation is coming back? One poster on here said in July, July is almost over and nothing yet. I want a new TV so bad...

I've been thinking about a second job for spending cash. What are the guidelines on the Best Buy employee pricing thing? Like do have to work 20 hours a week for 6 months or something? Otherwise, i guess people could work a couple weeks, get their tv, then quit.

you have to work 30 consecutive days then your discount kicks in. so you could work once a week in that month and once the 30 days are up then you get your discount
