So you are calling out a site that is bias against the PS3 on a PS3 forum? You are preaching to the choir here. I am not a fan of MGs games anyway (to slow for my tastes). I hope it is a good game that a lot of people will enjoy. I am not worried that this game entertain a lot of you. I don't go onto movie discussions and talk about how EW are a bunch of fools for giving Fight Club a D. If IGN or another site came out and said that GT5 wasn't as well done as Forza, would you complain about bias?

Based on the trailers alone for MGS4, the story is better than Halo 3. Assassin's Creed was a pretty good game, but it wasn't because of the story.

subjective is fine but IMO the fact that they gave the storyline lower score than even AC,GTA:IV, shows suspect to me the very fact that the big key points of MGS as a game in its core is the story..which is over 20 years worth of twists, very involved plots. MGS is by far has the best story line of any video game.INMO it rivals the "RPG" which is very story line driven and MGS is not a RPG. .the very fact they gave THE STORY LINE a lower score than GTA: 4 IS VERY BOGUS..NOW THATS MY OPINION but it seems to me suspect on GT review score system and the person reviewing the game's OPINION of the story .

How in the hell did Assassin's Creed's story get a 9.7. That was one of the, if not the, worst story I have ever seen in a video game. Halo 3 had a terrible story as well. If they are rating stories Mass Effect should have 10, and BioShock should have a score of 12/10 for a story. That game was good.

I don't ever look at the number scores of any kind of review. I read the articles and see if I may enjoy it because everyones opinion of "good" is different. Plus you should look at several different reviews of the same game because you will run across bias reporters or people who are simply in a bad mood that day.

GAMETRAILERS.COM just lost one viewer for life and that is me. It maybe nothing to them, but more will follow im sure of it. I do not care about MGS4, but i do know that it deserved a better score. They are bias ps3

Not to forget Gametrailers comparision vid of Burnout Paradiese, they claimed the Xbox360 version has better graphics and effects while showing PS3 footage in the vid! THAT was priceless, of course they deleted the vid.

What, someone's not allowed to have an opinion that differs from your own?

Really, come on. My choice of gaming is the graphic adventure genre - to most gamers it's the bottom of the barrel crud. The games I enjoy routinely score in the 3 to 4 range on the big game review sites. It is what it is. What one person likes, another person may not.

I think what he may be referring to is the "commonly accepted" view of a game. I heard of many hardcore Halo fans say the third game's story (and the overall story) was convoluted and poorly executed (to paraphrase). Add to that, I believe Metal Gear has commonly been viewed as a very confusing, but very entertaining overall story arc. I may be a fanboy, but it would seem this mis-matched rating system lends itself to certain accusations.

I do hate it when people act as though their opinion is law, even when there is no reason to support it. It didn't seem to me that was what he was doing, but either way...in my opinion...he has a point.

What gametrailers.com did was in fact much worse than that. Showing the wrong video could simply be an accident on the webmasters part.

What they did was say that a specific feature (dynamic crashes) doesn't exist in the ps3 version followed by showing that feature in the ps3 version passed off as the 360 version.

While this is an exaggeration to make a point, this would be like if gametrailers.com said that the 360 version of gta4 is better because the ps3 version lacks multiplayer followed by a video of multiplayer from the ps3 version.

While I hate to cry conspiracy...conspiracy, I don't know how someone in their right mind can not fine this whole thing a little bit fishy.

After i set my PS3 to RGB FULL Assassins Creed (PS3) had the exact same Picture like the Xbox360 version, no differences between the brightness and colours, i find it ridicoulus anyway to make comparision vids of games wich use the exact same textures and gamedetails.

Its like comparing warner bros. old Blu-ray and HD DVD releases, bot used the same videocodec, so of course there wherent any differences.

I remember their excuse for not setting up the RGB full to replicate the way the 360 version looked. They said they wanted to stay as close to the default settings as possible as the ps3 was out of the box. With that type of argument I'm surprised they simply didn't use the composite cables out of the box.

I have a challenge for anyone who claims no-bias.

Find me the cross platform game where the PS3 game gets the better score. Bonus points if it doesn't deserve it.

Why are there zero of these in existence? Why is it all reviews, for all games, have the PS3 equal or worse? Why is this true even on games like Oblivion, Burnout Paradise, and DiRT, which are unquestionably better on PS3 (well, Burnout Paradise isn't better strictly, but has the no-online limitation for some 360s)?
