I recently got House of Fury (produced by Jackie Chan which is why I picked it up). It was a pretty good movie, with some good stunts and action.

Jackie Chan movies should be Blu-ray. All I have (and I bet a few others do) is Rush Hour 3. Anyone up for Who Am I? Or maybe Project A? How about Drunken Master?

Dragon Tiger Gate, SPL, Ong-Bak, Chocolate -- those are all recent enough that the ones that don't already have a BD on the way should have one in short order, and the ones that do are on my "O YES INDEEDY" list.

Seven Samurai in the U.S. would be a Criterion job.

It's a fantastic movie but dunno how much cleaning up can be done or if anything could be done with the sound. Would anyone really want this all polished up?

House of Fury is a pretty good movie!

This movie is actually pretty good. Along the likes of Crouching Tiger, but with a lot of cool action scenes. Featuring fight choreographer "Yuen Wo Ping" of Matrix fame, Kung Fu Hustle and Kill Bill 1 &2. The PQ and AQ are top notch...with offers of 7.1 LPCM and 7.1 DTS HDMA, both Cantonese, this movie rumbled my house. Also, the movie was produced by Jackie Chan!

If you are looking for a good Martial Arts movie you have to pick this up! It was a blind buy for me and I don't regret picking it up!

One of my favorite Kung fu movies is

Jackie chan drunken master...i got the vhs of it like 4 or 5 years ago from the flea market...its not the english version.

Heres a clip of it on youtube...the main bad guy of the movie is one of the best kickers i have ever seen...Im guessing he is a instructor or famous like chan but not here in america...Just because of his skills he seems to be.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f6o9p8yXjr0

Then chan drinks gasoline...gets all messed up and kicks the guys @$$ lol

I'm looking forward to Chocolate, the trailer looks good. But for the sake of this thread, Ong-Bak and Chocolate are Thai

This would be the edition to own (until a BD is released). Since it's hard to find this box includes the 2 disc special edition and is highly recommended as a whole.

From imdb.com:

Bruce Lee had filmed over 30 minutes of fight scenes for this film when work was suspended to allow Lee to work on Enter the Dragon (1973). However, Lee died before he could return. Six years later, director Robert Clouse fleshed out a feature around the original footage with a new cast, including two stand-ins for Lee, who faces are hidden by dark sunglasses and shadows. Close-ups and stills of Lee's face (including a cardboard cut-out) were also used.

This is the sequel, DM2 (aka Legend of Drunken Master). The kicker is Kenneth Lo Wai-Kwong, Jackie Chan hired him as his bodyguard and he became a member of his stunt team. He practices Thai Boxing and Tae Kwon Do.
