seems simple... since ur wanting a bluray player... just get a ps3 u dont have to trade away the xbox yet(unless u were planning on using the money from it to purchase the blu)

that way you'll have 2 video game systems and a blu player ^^

Once again the PS3 is $299 with the Sony card deal. Also keep in mind that this forum is very biased when it comes to PS3 vs. Xbox stuff. So you should take that into consideration when you make your decision. Personally, I have seen no evidence to suggest that the PS3 has better graphisc than the 360. And when it comes to online gaming there is no comparison.

Keep the 360 and get the PS3 and you will have the best of all worlds.

Let's not get into a "fanboy" fight here. He's asking about getting a Blu-ray player, not which console is better. If he has the money, he should keep the 360 and buy a PS3. If not, he should sell it for the PS3.

I have a PS3 and it serves it's purpose and then some. Sony did a great job with this machine and it is defiently more than just a game machine that happens to play blu ray movies. if you are not a hardcore gamer then you will be more than happy with the selection of games out there. I am already looking at getting rid of some of my older games. Not because they are weak, its just that Im on to the new current games and do not have time for them all.

I have spent over 600 hundred on games and would be happy to get 150 back in trade in. I just think the PS3 has more to offer to the average person and whats not possible now may become possible down the line with an update. I really enjoy my PS3 and so does the wife and kids. All for different reasons.
