Ok, it's been awhile since I watched the film, but what's with the stuttering and skipping coment on Miami Vice?

I know the night scenes are pretty heavy-grain, but that's not something I mind.

Why wait for a US release when this UK version is about as good as this title will look and for $20 it's a steal.

The US version will be found for $20 as well.

I can understand if a person doesn't want to wait... and I wasn't trying to bust you on that. I've just generally never understood why someone would be in a hurry for a catalog title unless said catalog title is fixing to have a sequel...

The import of U-571 that I have has too many white specks in it for my taste. Hopefully the US release will clean that up a bit. Unfortunately, I gave away the HD DVD version before checking to see if it had the same issue. If it did, I doubt it'll be any different for the US release.

The UK option might make sense if they dumb down the U.S. version with DNR.

You may want to check your equipment because the one I have is pristine in every way. There is not one blemish in site, literally and figuratively speaking.

End of Days could have been such such a great movie if it had ANYONE other than Arnold in it.
Gabriel Byrne gives a phenomenal performance ( as always ).

Yeah, I'm sure that's it. My equipment is anti-U-571 and is adding white specks to annoy me. I should have thought of that.

Isn't the UK edition of U571 not OAR? If I cared about the movie, that would settle the debate for me.

I loved miami vice, but the PQ on it is god awful, I seriously thought on my hd dud disc i was watching the dvd side -_-V

The back cover of the UK blu-ray says it's 2.40:1 and IMDB says the movie was 2.35:1. Is that what you're referring to?

I got a copy because of your recommendations. And if the report is accurate for those bonus feature folks the import has many more bonus features compared to the notes on this release.
