I absolutely loved 40yr Old Virgin and Knocked Up, but that was mainly due to Steve Carrell and Seth Rogan, respectively. Was Forgetting Sarah Marshall similar in terms of humor?

I personally really enjoyed Forgetting Sarah Marshall. It has the same type of comedy as the other two; relying on "nerdy" guys in weird sexual situations. I'd recommend it.

i'll pick this up provided they each have their own cases. I know that sounds dumb i just like the single cases better. Not very fond of my die hard and dirty harry collection

If you liked the other 2 films, you will like FSM.

IMO Forgetting Sarah Marshall was the best of the 3 movies being discussed. It was hilarious!

I was almost hoping that 3rd disc was a full-length version of the Dracula rock-opera in HD.

I think I will in fact get the 3 pack. KNOCKED UP was my favorite of those three since it had the most pathos, and will be the one whose DVD I'll be upgrading from, but the other two were still incredibly funny.

I'm exited about this set of movies but if Knocked Up & 40-Year-Old-Virgin have none of the special features and no options to watch the theatrical versions (like the HD-DVD versions) I'll be disappointed. Especially since Walk Hard and Superbad were such excellent examples of perfect releases (all special features in HD).

Maybe the stand alone versions will. Considering the $39.95 msrp it seems possible. If so I'll be getting those.

I think the $39.95 MSRP is only for FSM. The other titles will probably get Universal's normal catalog pricing...

That would be a great extra.

Do we know if the uncensored version of FSM is coming to Blu-Ray, or will it be the standard R version?

I may get this movie. It was funny, but not one of my all time favorites or anything.

That more expensive MSRP HAS to be for the 3 movie pak. There is no way that a single movie (even if it was 3 discs with tons of extras) would justify THAT high of a price, and there's no way that a movie like Forgetting Sarah Marshall would justify needing 2 whole additional discs (esspecially discs with the storage capacity of Blu-Ray) just to house extra feature content.
