Haven't bought a DVD since about July or August of last year. I'm done with SD.

I'll still be picking up television shows on dvd and the occasional movie, but for the most part I'll be going strictly Blu ray.

The last SD DVDs I bought was the Criterion re-releases of Brazil ans Seven Samurai when they came out. I refuse to purchase any more SD DVDs and if a movie doesn't come out in HD, I just won't buy it.

I actually sold all of my DVDs, except my Frasier and Seinfeld series. I will finish buying those series on DVD, but everything else will be on Blu-ray. If those series come out on blu-ray, and there is a huge difference, I'll probably replace them as well.

As am I, I just can't go back to SD...be it, cable TV, Movies or VideoGames.
It has to be something really acceptional for me to dedicate my eyeballs to the torture test of StandardDef.

I bought The Illusionist on DVD. If it had come out on Blu-ray, I would have bought the Blu-ray version instead.

What are the rest of you all doing?
I'm still buying SD when it comes to TV series, anime, foreign titles, and Universal titles that I am curious about. Look at my collection link, in my signature line, and you will see what I mean.

Just got FLCL Ultimate. No reason to wait for the Blu-ray since it was done in SD.

I'll keep buying material on DVD if I know it more than likely won't come out on Blu-Ray. Mostly this consists of anime, TV shows, and older/obscure movies.

If it's planned for blu, I'll get it on blu. And I'm not afraid to double-dip; even if I;ve the DVD already, I'll get the same title on blu-ray disc and sell or give away the DVD afterwards.

Nothing but Blu now.
What few movies I feel are worth watching, might as well watch them in the best possible format, right?

I'm still buying SD-DVD, quite a bit actually.
There's over 50 titles in my wants list that I dont see hitting HD any time soon.

Until Blu-Ray has more support over here in the UK (more BR's realesed the same day as the DVD)
It will probably stay that way for me.

I just started getting into Blu-ray so a lot of what I've been buying is SD. I don't know if I plan of replacing my current dvds with Blu-ray (that's money I don't really have) but if it comes out and I'm going to buy it, I'm going to get blu-ray. If it's not going to be on blu-ray, I'll get SD.
