How about the hd-dvd fans that bought the first three on hd-dvd? They will be waiting longer.

Try 35 years for the books not 20.

Since no Bourne movie follow in any way the books, the fact that Legacy was written by someone else than Ludlum doesn't matter. They'll just proceed as before.

If Matt's back and if they find a good way to bring something new to the character, expand the mythology then I don't see why they shouldn't do a new trilogy. Showing Bourne getting older would be a great thing, the Bond movies never approached (Bond was always 35 even when he was played by a 54 year old with his stunt doubles).

the only bourne movie I like was the first one with Franka Potente as the love interest, everything after that was abysmal by comparison.

they should have never killed her off like that.

To be honest I don't like Bourne trilogy all that much, somehow I don't buy M.D. as an action star.
Still, those are watchable movies mostly, that is when the cam isn't shaking making U believe that the operator has an epileptic seizure.
I really hope they'll get a new director for 4th, or at least he'll get over his shaky cam thing and put it down to give normal view...

I really enjoyed the first and third films but I couldn't take the camera in the second film. The third had the shaky camera as well but the second was out of control. You've got two guys standing in an office talking and the camera is flying all over the place. It makes sense (in limited use) during action scenes but the entire second movie was a shaking, nauseating, mess.

I dislike shaky cam in the actin sequence too. I'm in the movie to "See" the action. I don't want to feel like I'm in there, which is hardly achieved by shaking the cam anyway. Inthe end I can hardly understand what's going on. I dont' get omtion sick but my eyes really hurt after all that.

This is exactly how I feel about them. Story is great. Just hold the camera steady every once and a while (mostly in number 2).
