pretty psyched for this film, love kevin smith. Going to his NJ Q&A about a week after it comes out so I'm even more excited than expected!

I'm not all that into Seth Rogen although with Pineapple Express I can finally say he did a film I like, but with Kevin Smith at the helm I have faith.

Saw it yesterday, and I haven't laughed so hard in a long time... Was the crudest romantic comedy I have ever seen, made Clerks 2 look tame...
The Q&A's after the movie with Kevin Smith where good as well, funny guy.

This movie looks really funny. I just find it funny that they make a big deal to take it from NC-17 to R. Okay so I know that ticket sales would go down, but why even have the rating if you can never have a movie rated NC-17?? I think it would be cool, just my opinion.

I hope this is good. I had really high expectations for Kevin Smith after the first Clerks, but i'll be damned if every movie since hasn't been horrible. He's like a real life Comic Book Guy.

Probably right, but i really liked Clerks and i even convinced myself i liked Mall Rats and Dogma for a brief while. Then i went back and watched them again and they didn't hold up too well. Clerks 2 and Jay and Silent Bob Strikes Back never did anything for me.

you probably won't. Smith is one of the director's who doesn't really believe in director's cuts and stuff like that. what he released in the theatre is what he considers the film to be, period.

granted, he could have changed his mind since he said that however many years ago.

but I also don't thionk they cut much if anything since they re-applied and it got lowered.

Excited about this movie...Clerks 1 and 2 are a lot of fun....Jay and Silent Bob Strike back...Meh....Dogma...meh.....but I have faith in Kevin Smith...and yeah kinda like mikejet I too feel like this is more Appatow, but that's probably just a marketing thing that the studio is doing...and of course there's Rogen.

I can't wait to see this. I don't really like Rogan and it's going to be weird to see Jason M and Jeff B as characters other than view askew characters... But it should be worth a watch!

yeah its gonna be especially strange to see jason mewes not play jay, but i am really looking forward to this movie, its like two of my favorite comedy worlds merged, kevin smiths and judd apatows/seth rogens, i dont think theres any way this could not be hysterical
