i cant get into warhawk and i am into games. im really trying to get more into shooters but after years of detesting them i now like them a bit but im no ace and i like to play lots of offline to practice them before venturing online and the thing that bugs me with warhawk is that you just cant do that.(the only reason i got into shooters more is because thats half the new titles seem to be on this generation of consoles) i love the ps3 and i think that most first party games are very good but the not so good games tend to be multi format and you would have the same issues if you were talking about the 360.the psn has some great titles that are well worth a look like the amazing MONSTERS by pixel junk my only issue with games these days is that shooters seem to dominate the titles avalible. want more games like final fantasy star wars tfu dmc resident evil i own mgs4,dmc4,lego star wars, civ revolution, everybodys golf, burnout and singstar 1 and 2. next 2 games im getting are uncharted(again) and buzz so i dont know what that says about my gaming style love mgs4 myself its a great all round game that cant be pigeon holed into the shooter section. |

unless you are a hardcore RPG fan, if you can't find a game you love on the PS3, then maybe video games aren't your thing anymore. ive never played any of the metal gear games, but MGS4 is the best game ive played in a long long time. if you cant get into it, you are either very picky, or like i said before, maybe you moved on.

Burnout: Paradise City is a load of fun for anyone who likes racing games and there are some additional content updates coming out in the very near future. Ratchet and Clank should be fun, try the demo. Portal was awesome! If you enjoy lighter fare, either of the Lego titles are also quite a bit of fun and filled with humor.

You'll need to get a good idea of what your tastes are before purchasing a game. I've never tried it myself, but you sound like a prime candidate for Gamefly. There you can rent games to try them out, and keep them for as long as you want without late fees. That would keep you from spending $59 on a game without knowing if you like it first.
Anyway, here's a few games I'd consider trying out: Assassin's Creed - Good fantasy game with a twist. It's currently at Amazon for $29, and that's a steal. Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion - Great fantasy game that is much more than an ordinary RPG. Amazon $29 ($59 for Game of Year Edition) Lair - Great game. Great story. The controls take a bit of getting used to, but the tilt still works best. Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction: Extremely entertaining platformer with jaw dropping graphics Rock Band - Fantastic multiplayer party game. Fantastic single-player as well Splinter Cell: Double Agent - Great action stealth game that is sadly overlooked on PS3 Fight Night: Round 3 - Good boxing game with great control system and graphics. Amazon $29 (Game of the Year Edition, $59) Last edited by kingofgrills; 07-07-2008 at 06:10 PM. |

If you enjoyed Prologue try GRID i am enjoying it more than Prologue.
Cant wait to get a driver to drive for my company. Also coming out tomorrow is Civilization Revloution. Maps are random each time and with different leaders and skills that game will have much replay ability. |

i did a few posts up. in my opinion its the best download game thats out for psn(or xbl arcade) and you can get the game and the update for a bargain price. under £7 for both in the uk(sure i paid less than £6 even). its brilliant and will prob end up with trophy's which will add even more to the game. p.s girlfriends/wifes tend to love playing it solo or co-op with you so its a good tool to please them also. |

Buy g25 racing wheel and a playseats evolution from amazon. You haven't really played Gran Turismo until you play it with a wheel.
It's worth the $600. I promise ![]() Ok ok its probably not worth it unless you're a hardcore racing fan.. Do you get up at 3:30am to watch F1 live on speed? Last edited by actionhank; 07-07-2008 at 09:28 PM. |
