At one time there was over 10,000 Laserdisc titles. Pioneer released a few combo Laserdisc and DVD players. I owned a Elite Pioneer model that played both Laserdiscs, DVD’s, and CD’s. Back in the year 1999 and 2000 there were nice players to own for someone who had a large Laserdisc collection. I still own Laserdiscs. I have sold most of my Laserdiscs and replaced them with DVD’s. Only kept the Laserdiscs that were not available on DVD or in the case there was a better version on Laserdisc (widescreen or DTS) compared to early full screen DVD’s.
