My favorite film in the series has always been:

I'll Never Remember What He Said You Knew She Might Have Possibly Heard He Did That You Know They Could Have Perhaps Known About What Perchance Happened When We Watched I Know What You Did Last Summer Last Summer

It was pretty self aware and trendy, particularly when the main plot point was about watching the original movie "Last Summer."

You can also abbreviate it to INRWHSYKSMHPHHDTYKTCHPKAWPHWWWIKWYDLSLS for the sake of brevity.

It should have won the oscar for best picture and the mtv award for best kiss for Jennifer Love Hewitt and Sean Connery making out with the severed head of Sarah Michelle Gellar.

on a side note, did anyone know this movie is based off a book? It was actually a decent book at that

I finally upgraded this and the sequel to Blu-ray; don't know what took me so long. I actually love both films and think they're way better than the average modern horror film. The first film, especially, is a great homage to 80's slasher movies IMO.

Not that I'm complaining but it looks like Mill Creek stopped printing copies of their own blu-ray.

Whatever, it was a terrible blu-ray anyway.

I don't see too many cult classics coming out on 4k.

I remember this being a pretty decent slasher romp in its day. I wouldn't mind revisiting it, but probably won't find the time.

As for a 4K, well, they're putting out 'Christine', so maybe there is some hope for this.

Eventually I imagine some will. IKWYDLS was quick to come to Blu-ray.

I actually hope not. I buy lots of Scream Factory, but I prefer unreleased-on-blu-ray films from them, and I'd rather have a 4K disc for these films, which Scream Factory doesn't yet do.

Christine was a nice surprise and I hope there are more like that to come!

I would totally double dip for a Scream Factory release of IKWYDLS, especially since I got the barebones Mill Creek edition for peanuts. The sequel is godawful, but it’s a fun bad movie. I know some people say the same about the original, but I totally enjoy it unironically, and I’m not ashamed to admit it.

That thought actually did cross my mind a few times seeing this at midnight last night.

* that and how so much of the film can't be taken seriously anymore because of how on point and savage the "Scary Movie" spoofs of this were.
