Ummmmm not to hate or anything but there is already a RB2 Megathread. With a LOT of information in the OP. Those dates have also been known for well over a month.

Yeah we knew about the one month early release for a few months now.

The exact dates were just what was confirmed recently.

How MS is led to negotiate their exclusives at this point:

Microsoft: For only 1 month of Exclusivity?

Need some help to clarify something I read! I have heard that we will have the ability to download our RB1 songs to RB2?! Is this true. If so, how are we going to do it? Like loading an old PC Game, please re-insert disk 1? Just curious if anyone knows how this will work???

I believe Harmonix will offer them through the PS Store but im not 100% sure, they will def. be saved to ur harddrive.....but I dont think they will be ripped from the Game 1 disc like u do with a music cs..lol.....but PS Store is the most likely thing...that or the Rock Band Store

However.....
I was also thinking after talking to some guys at work that it might also be a RB1 download file to the HDD that would be read when you put it RB2 verifiying that you had (owned) RB1 and do the download all of the RB1 tracks.
What do you think??

I know you have to enter a specific code when you link your game account to your Rock Band website account. Would that have something to do with it?
