There was an infant in the theater when I went to see Dawn of the Dead (remake). That ruined it for me.

Wife and I getting ready to watch 30 Days of Night, the room is almost empty, and we're thrilled (it was like the 3 rd week of 30 Days... showing).
We notice a Woman entering the room before the movie starts, with not 1 or 2, but 3 kids and 2 teenagers in row.

She instructs the 2 teenagers to go up and do whatever they want (we then get that she's a baby sitter), and she tries to sit down the 3 kids (aging anywhere from 6 to 12 year olds) near her. She sits on the row down from us, slightly on our right. We're now very pessimistic about the night, and horrified that anybody would chose a R-rated movie to babysit.

From there on, she is totally uninterested in what the kids are doing (talking, giggling, and running around), and spends her time texting and -I was fuming- CALLING on her cell.
I start with some "Ho Hum" to let her know we're here. She does not care.
Then I ask her politely to take care of her kids, she doesn't respond.

During the movie, my wife gets fed up, and tells her "Do you mind stopping to use your cell and controlling your kids, we're here for the movie".
She then responds "Whatever".
I then say "Ok, I've had enough".
I leave and go see one of the teenagers at the entrance of the theatre asking for a Manager. I explain the situation, and they assure me that they'll be coming over soon with a manager to take care of things.
I go back to the theatre, missed about 6 -7 minutes of the film.
The woman is now staying still, her kids having been sat down when I left to grab a manager apparently.

This is not all. NOBODY from the theater ever showed up, and she resumes her texting after about 10-15 minutes, now confident that she is safe doing so. Kinda ruined the experience for us...

Also at the Dark Knight showing yesterday, a guy and is GF right down from us spent the ENTIRE movie texting, and let me tell you, the glow of the cell screen is VERY annoying.

I kicked the back of his sit, and he didn't care.

If anyone on this website does that, let me tell you, I'm about to go violent on this, and I know I can't be the only one, so cut it out.

You wouldn't have been attending a midnight show for that at the Continental Theatre in Denver would you? Cause from the back, my wife and I saw SEVERAL people tossing the beach balls around the theatre and hitting other patrons.

Finally our movie starts and everyone is excited, movie is kicking ass and getting good when 1 hour into the movie in the middle of an Imax sequence some jerkoff decides to pull the fire alarm and all the movies stopped!!!! So we wait, and wait, then after waiting for almost an hour to get the fire department to shut off the fire alarm the alarm is shut down. Unfortunately to our delight Imax video and sound sources come from different computers and they cant sync up the voices so they cancel our show and supposedly the next 2:15 am show after ours(which I doubt). Security and Sheriffs were called in and lined up as we were told to exit as ppl chanted "Restart Movie!!" OMG now i have to wait to finish watching the movie as most afternoon Imax shows are already sold out for the rest of the week.

Small Video of the Alarm.

I was there and yes! it was the worst movie experienced ive ever had but kinda amusing. When people were first trying to get refunds, security gets called because the "imax people are getting out of control" i see 3-4 guards(fat) rush upstairs and when they get there (all tired) everyone is sitting down all quiet Sucks i didnt get to finish watching the dark knight and now i must wait till wednesday to watch it on imax again. Least i got 4 free movie tickets out of it.

I went with a buddy to go see LA Confidential. It had been in theaters for about a month, and the only place around where it was still playing was in this 3 screen place that was on its last legs (within a year or two, the property became a bank and a Bennigan's.)

So we're about half an hour in, and suddenly every speaker but the center channel goes out. The raucous crowd of 8 people in the theater groan. My friend and I are not pleased, but already into the movie, so we decide to meander into the 2nd row so we can strain to hear the movie.

Just our luck, now sharing the row with us is a woman who, between giant handfuls of popcorn, tells us not to worry, as she's seen this movie over 5 times by now. Totally unsolicited, she repeats lines of dailogue. Frustrated, we get up to find the only guy outside of our theater who works there, and he shrugs his shoulders and gives a look that said "I really couldn't give less of a s__t."

So we head back, this time find seats in the fourth row, and enjoy the film (which was excellent, BTW) in all its neck-craning, 1 tinny audio channel glory.

I saw Revenge of the Sith on my Birthday one year and there were a ton of people dressed as Jedi (I so much wanted to come in a Starfleet Uniform at that point). We go in and they cheer EVERY TIME A JEDI COMES ON SCREEN! It didn't help they were behind me This is pissing me off, so I cheered when Annakin killed Mace Windu (Samuel L. Jackson), and became Darth Vadar, they got up and moved to the other side of the theater, didn't hear anything from them the rest of the show.
