Old but I was surprised we didn't get Labyrinth or Dark Crystal last summer. And some random catalog releases I just noticed, I am sure these would be good sellers since people love those old time movies from the 80s.

Fox will release the 2-disc special edition of 1951's "The Day the Earth Stood Still" on DVD this December 2nd. The release is meant to coincide with the 2008 remake of the film which stars Keanu Reeves, Jennifer Connelly, Kathy Bates, and John Cleese.

Hopefully you're right - however the usual (and sensible) thing to do is to do it with the theatrical release (as WB did with Omega Man and I Am Legend).

ya i was pissed how Childs Play and Psycho and all the old Hitchcock movies arent on blu....you think being the halloween season soon they would have been. stupid....i almost bought the childs play one (first time in widescreen)...it was only 9.99 canadian at best buy, i have the older one but i figured if im gonna upgrade to widescreen version...its gonna have to be blu
